How dent repair is priced

Four factors, every time: how deep the dent is, how big it is, where it sits on the panel, and whether we can get behind it. A shallow ding in the flat middle of a door is our quickest work. A stretched crease crossing a body line on an aluminum hood is hours of careful work and prices accordingly. Panel edges, braced areas, and places requiring disassembly to reach add time. Hail is priced by dent count per panel using the same matrix insurers use.

Detailing is simpler and fully published — every package price is listed on the detailing page, small vehicle and large. No ‘call for pricing.’

Hail claims, deductibles and your rates

• Hail is classified an Act of God. Filing generally does NOT raise your individual rates the way an at-fault collision does. After major storms, ZIP-code-level rate adjustments can happen whether or not you file — so not filing rarely protects you.
• Most full-coverage policies include a rental vehicle while repairs are underway. Check your policy; it’s commonly overlooked.
• We estimate with Mobile Tech RX — the panel-by-panel matrix system carriers recognize — then negotiate the claim directly with your adjuster so it reflects the real damage.
• You pay your deductible. We handle the claim paperwork.
• We work with all insurance carriers. You’ll need a claim number to begin.
• PDR hail repair is typically completed in a week or less depending on damage and scheduling — much faster than body shop refinishing.

What non-hail repairs cost you out of pocket

Most dent work outside of hail is retail — no claim, no deductible, no insurance involvement, and nothing on your vehicle history. For a single ding or a crease, that’s usually the better path anyway: filing a claim on a small repair can cost more in the long run than paying for it, and it puts a claim on your record for damage nobody else would ever know about.
