Heartland Dent Shop opened in 2000, when Jesse’s father built a small operation doing paintless dent work for Tulsa dealerships. It was wholesale work — lot cars, trade-ins, auction prep — and it was a handful of people who were very good with metal. Jesse grew up around it and learned the trade from his father directly, which is a different education than a training course: you learn by standing next to someone who has already made every mistake.
When the shop passed to Jesse, he and his wife Alissa took it somewhere his father hadn’t — retail. Real customers, real cars, a real storefront, and eventually the move to 8618 E 46th St. Today Heartland is the shop Tulsa drivers bring vehicles they actually care about, and the shop other body shops call when a dent needs to come out without paint. Same trade, second generation, still family owned.
Jesse leads every repair and sets the standard for what leaves the shop. Alissa runs the office and everything with a screen attached. Jesse’s mother Karen is who you’ll talk to when you call. His brother Justin works the panels alongside Joe Morey, a lifetime family friend, and Brady Reeves handles detailing. When we say family owned and operated, we mean the org chart looks like a Thanksgiving table.

Preserving the factory finish is the entire point of this trade. If a repair needs any of those, it isn’t PDR — and we’ll say so.
Including when the honest answer is that PDR isn’t the right fix and you need a body shop. We’d rather send you to the right place than sell you the wrong repair.
